Slack

Integrating Slack with Reform can enhance your team’s communication by automatically sending form submissions directly to a Slack channel. This integration allows you to instantly share and manage form responses within your team’s existing Slack workspace, keeping everyone in the loop and enabling quicker follow-ups.

Find the Slack Integration

  • Locate the "Integrations" option on the left side of the dashboard and click on it.
  • Scroll down until you find the Slack integration options.

You have two options to integrate with Slack:

Option A: Using Zapier

  • Click on the Zapier option next to the Slack integration.
  • Follow the prompts provided by Zapier to set up and enable the integration.

Option B: Manual Integration

  • Click on "Add integration" next to the Slack integration.
  • This will open the Slack Integration page.
  1. Authorize Access
  • On the Slack Integration page, you’ll see an "Authorize Reform" CTA. Click on it to proceed.
  • Connect to Your Slack Workspace:
    • A window will appear, allowing you to connect Reform with your Slack workspace.
    • If you're not signed into Slack, you'll be prompted to sign in first; if you're already signed in, you'll see the integration setup window immediately.
    • You’ll then be prompted to select a Slack channel where a message will be sent when there's a new form submission.
    • It’s recommended to create a dedicated channel in Slack beforehand, specifically for form submissions, so you can easily choose it during setup.

  • Complete the Setup:
    • After selecting the appropriate channel, click "Allow" to finalize the integration.
    • The Slack window will automatically close, and you’ll be redirected back to the Slack integration page on our platform.
    • You can easily switch the Slack integration on or off at any time by clicking the toggle next to it on the Integrations page.
