Form Settings

This guide shows you how to personalize your form’s title, URL, branding, appearance, and behavior. These settings help align your form with your brand, improve usability, and guide users through the form experience more effectively.

Note: Settings like logo, button colors, progress bar, navigation, and save progress can now be managed at the team level. You can still override them for individual forms if needed.

Once you have your form opened, follow these steps to customize it using the Form settings:

  • Access Form Settings:
    • Click on 'Form settings' in the top-right corner of the page.
    • You will see a menu on the right side of the screen with all the customization options.

  • Change Form Title and Slug:
    • Title: Enter the name you want to display at the top of your form.
    • Slug: Customize the last part of the form URL.

To change the default URL for all forms, go to Team Settings > General. Or navigate from "team branding"

Branding & Appearance

Set Branding in Team Branding (only for team owners)

Logo and color settings are centralized in Team Settings > Branding.

  • Upload a logo (max height: 48px; recommended sizes: 32px–48px)
  • Choose logo size (small, medium, large)
  • Set primary button color (HEX)
  • Set button text color
  • Enable/disable the progress bar and navigation arrows
  • Show/hide the “Save progress” butto

These settings will apply to all forms by default.

Override Branding Per Form

You can still override branding for a specific form in its Form Settings:

  • Replace or remove the default logo
  • Set a custom primary button and text color
  • Override team defaults for:
    • Progress bar
    • Navigation arrows
    • Save progress

Note: If no overrides are made, the team branding will be used automatically.

Behavior Settings

These optional settings let you control how users interact with multi-page forms and long responses. A default can also be set in Team Settings > Branding.

  • Hide Navigation (Multi-step forms only)

    • Toggle Hide navigation to remove the step counter at the bottom of your form.
    • Use this if you want a cleaner layout or prefer to guide users through each step without visual cues.

You can use this independently of the progress bar.

  • Show "Save Progress" Button

    • Toggle Show ‘Save progress’ button to allow users to pause and return to the form later.
    • After publishing the form, users will see a Save progress button on every step. Clicking it will show a prompt where they can enter their email and receive a link to resume later.

This button is not visible in preview mode only on the live, published form.

  • Show Progress Bar (Multi-step forms only)

    • Toggle Show progress bar to display a visual indicator of the user’s progress through a multi-step form.
    • Choose one of the following display styles:
      • Page Numbers Shows the step count (e.g., "Step 2 of 5").
      • Custom Labels Display specific labels for each step (e.g., "Contact Info", "Company Details", "Finish")

You can set these labels when adding or rearranging form pages.

      • No Labels Shows the progress visually with a bar only no text.
    • Helps users understand how many steps are left, which can improve form completion.

This option is only available if your form has more than one page.
