Tags: How To Organize Your Respones By Assigning Tags
Tags help you organize and manage your form responses more efficiently. By categorizing responses with tags, you can quickly find and analyze specific data, making it easier to handle large volumes of information.
View Responses
Click on “Responses” in the menu on the left side of the form builder screen. This will take you to the page where all submitted responses are displayed.
- Create Custom Tags
- Open any response by clicking on it.
- Click “Assign tags” located on the right side of the screen.
- Select “Create new tag”. A dialog box will appear where you can name your tag and choose a color.
- After entering the details, click “Create tag”.
- Assign Tags to Responses
- With the response still open, click “Assign tags” again.
- Choose the newly created tag from the list. This tag will now be linked to that response. Repeat this process for each response you want to categorize.
- Filter Responses by Tags
- Go back to the main “Responses” page.
- Click on the “Filter by tags” dropdown menu.
- Select a tag from the list to filter and display only the responses associated with that tag.
- Utilize Pre-assigned Tags
- Some tags, like “Preview”, are automatically assigned to responses. The “Preview” tag helps identify responses made during form previews, allowing you to exclude these from your primary analysis.
By following these steps, you can efficiently categorize and manage your form responses using tags. This approach simplifies data organization and retrieval, helping you quickly locate and analyze specific information and improving your overall workflow.
