How to enable the save progress feature

Reform offers the option to add a "Save Progress" button to forms, which enables visitors to save their form's progress and return later to complete it.

To show a “Save progress” button on your forms, first you need to create a new form, or open an already existing one so you can add the feature to it. You can start by visiting the All forms page. From there you can either choose a form you want to add the “Save progress” button to, or click on the “Create form” button at the bottom of the page to create a new form.

Once you have your form opened you need to click on “Form settings” located at the top right corner of the page:

After you click on “Form settings” a menu will expand on the right side of your screen. You should see a “Show ‘Save progress’ button” switch button at the bottom of this menu.

Simply toggle the button on and then click on the "Save changes" button below it. The button will be visible on each step of your form once you publish it. Please note that you won't be able to see the button when previewing the form, but it will become visible only after the form has been published.

This is how the button looks like once the form has been published:

When users click on it, an overlay will appear that will allow them to enter their email address so we can send them a link to come back and finish the form from where they left off.

That’s it! You’ve got it!
